The course serves to acquire additional language skills.
Basic specialised language course at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Building on the
terminology, text types and grammar of the specialised language are practised and trained in a goal-oriented manner.

Argomenc dl curs
The course is aimed at acquiring further language skills. A basic course in specialised language for students of economics based on B1+ (CEFR). The course focuses on the different language styles used in the field of economics and aims to improve students' receptive, but especially productive language skills in general. The topics covered include an introduction to more complex grammatical structures used in this field and at this level, with subsequent consolidation through practical applications. Another focus is on improving productive skills, especially writing skills, so that students are able to write correct, coherent texts for professional use in German. Topics - Application letters and curriculum - Study and university environment - Research and science - New technologies - Environment - Life and culture - Business: job profiles, companies (organisation, presentation, corporate identity; - Repetition of grammar: subjunctive, connectors, sentence structure.

Sort de ejam
The written exam tests reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar; non-participating students must also write a summary. A monolingual dictionary is permitted. Three written assignments are completed in class as part of the examination: Presentation Writing, Graphic Description and Summary. The oral examination consists of: - Presentation of a topic - Professional presentation (for non-participating students) During the practical sessions, participating students receive a grade for their professional presentation. Written exam (ILOs 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.5, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.6, 2.7, 2.8, 3) Oral exam (ILOs 1.3, 1.4, 1.6, 2.1, 2.5, 3)

Criters de valutazion
Examination - written examination (max. 20 points - for non-participating students max. 30 points) - in the lecture (max. 10 points) - oral examination (max. 20 points - max. 30 points for students not present) - during the practical exercises (max. 10 points) The clarity of answers, command and correctness of language, ability to synthesise, judgement and ability to make connections to the topics covered are assessed.
