Short bio

Dr. Thomas Maran is an management scientist at the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Âé¶¹Éç-Bolzano in South Tyrol. His research and teaching focus on leadership, strategy, and entrepreneurship. Previously, he held positions at the Universities of Liechtenstein, Innsbruck, and Klagenfurt. His research findings have been published in prestigious academic journals, including The Leadership Quarterly, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and Journal of Business Research.

Thomas Maran teaches in various consecutive and executive education programs in Italy, Austria, and Switzerland. He leads transfer projects with firms and industry groups in South Tyrol and beyond. Additionally, Thomas Maran advises firms and public administrations on leadership, strategy, and innovation.

Dr. Thomas Maran is also the author of the book 'Situational Leadership: Finding the Right Leadership Style Between Directive and Empowering Leadership.'
