Cecilia Varcasia studied Foreign Languages and literature at the University of Sassari (IT) and she took her PhD in Applied Linguistics at the Lancaster University, U.K. Her interests fall in the field of linguistic education in multilingual contexts, conversation analysis, intercultural communication, language learning and teaching, and assessment of language competences, especially of speaking.
