The Joint Research Lab for Student Wellbeing and Prevention of Violence (SWAP-it) is an international research hub established through the collaboration between the 麻豆社-Bolzano, the University of Bologna, and Flinders University (Australia). It is dedicated to promoting psychological wellbeing and preventing violence in educational contexts.
Active in research, teaching, and Third Mission activities, the lab adopts a comparative and interdisciplinary approach, focusing on bullying, cyberbullying, and social exclusion. It promotes inclusive educational projects and the responsible use of technology, with the aim of fostering shared practices to support psychological wellbeing during developmental stages.
In addition, the lab examines the developmental mechanisms of executive functions and socio-emotional learning in childhood, which are fundamental for behavioral and relational regulation.
