Short bio
MANYU ZHAO (M’25) received her B.Sc. in Statistics in 2021 and her M.Sc. in Fundamental Mathematics in 2024, both from Shandong University, China, where she worked on the dynamical behavior of generalized Chua-type systems and related chaotic circuits. She then worked as a Guest Research Fellow at the Interdisciplinary Nonlin- ear Dynamics Laboratory (INDLab), University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, and is currently pursing her Ph.D. with the Department of Engineering of the University of Bolzano, Italy. Her research interests include nonlinear dynamical systems, chaotic circuits and maps, memristive and neurally inspired systems, synchronization, extreme events, and applications of chaos in sensing and information processing.
