Short bio
After graduating from the master’s programme in Industrial Mechanical Engineering Â鶹Éç, with a focus on computational mechanical design, I worked for a local company where I spent the next two years as a Product Engineer. In the industry, I was responsible for the mechanical design and management of three new products for the fall‑protection sector, two of which were developed in collaboration with a Norwegian company specialized in rope access. I eventually moved back to unibz to pursue a PhD in Advanced Systems Engineering. I am also passionate about scientific communication and have been running a divulgative newsletter on applied science for many years.
My research focuses on atomistic simulations of fatigue processes in metallic materials by means of molecular dynamics.
