Argomenc dl curs
The course provides an opportunity to explore design by engaging with the approaches and practices of human-centred and interaction design.
The course critically explores the primary methods and practices employed in designing for and with people, focusing particularly on inclusion and accessibility in interaction, experience and communication within phygital contexts and artefacts. The course offers an overview of the main aspects of human-centred design, with artefacts. Prototyping classes are held in the CO-SPACE of the Faculty of Engineering, at NOI Tech Park.
Students reflect on proto-personas and scenarios that are relevant for their research. Then they explore how ideas can take a digital and physical shape (aka phygital). Taking a reflective stance, they are invited to evaluate these forms from the perspectives of their potential users, working in small teams, with ad-hoc materials.
Students are encouraged to share their outcomes, reflect on, and critically analyse the experience, both during the design critique activities and the final sharing session.
